We are seeking a Clinical Funding Specialist to provide site-specific clinical funding support to our Residential Aged Care Homes.
The successful candidate will liaise with carers and clinical staff to ensure accurate documentation of resident care needs and time spent, supporting funding classifications and appropriate staffing based on residents' needs.
Responsibilities include:

- Supporting staff with resources and knowledge of systems, raising concerns with the Clinical Manager.
- Upskilling staff in funding processes through training sessions (including RN, EN, PCW, Lifestyle Assistants, Pastoral Carers).
- Providing ongoing education through toolbox sessions and incorporating these into new employee induction programs.
- Participating in monitoring resident conditions, clinical meetings, and feedback sessions to identify reclassification opportunities.
- Monitoring and tracking residents' data, including movements, Medicare events, and AN-ACC lodgments.
- Involving in the admission process, including pre-screening, funding predictions, assessments, and communication with the clinical team.
- Reviewing assessments and care plans to ensure they reflect residents' needs for AN-ACC classification.
- Delivering high-quality documentation, reporting, and tracking, including occupancy and departures.
- Completing forms and data required for classification support and KPI reporting.
- Engaging in communication with stakeholders, including attendance at HODS and AN-ACC meetings.
- Performing analysis, data collection, and reporting for AMO visits, ensuring assessors have the necessary resources.
- Experience in a care or clinical role within Residential Aged Care.
- Knowledge of AN-ACC tools, funding guides, and processes.
- Ability to quickly learn software systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail, customer service skills, and excellent communication skills.
