We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair, with a minimum of 3-4 years industry experience. A Certificate III Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Fitter or equivalent qualification is essential.

You will be responsible for conducting on-site commissioning, servicing and repairs of underground machinery, including modification and/or repair of vehicle systems, manufacturing and fitting of electrical and mechanical components, testing and adjusting of mechanical hydraulics, circuits and pneumatic components, and fault finding, repairing, replacing and providing technical advice.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong mechanical knowledge and experience with a high level of problem solving and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to read CAD engineer drawings, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical schematics
  • Experience in modification and repairs of heavy mobile equipment
  • Previous underground experience is highly desirable
  • Drivers license is essential along with full working rights in Australia
