Heavy Commercial Vehicle Technician Training

Job Description:
Cummins is seeking highly motivated individuals to undertake a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology. As a Cummins Technician Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of qualified technicians and gain hands-on experience with diagnosis and repair of Cummins engines and products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Earn while you learn, with above award rates paid during training
- Obtain a nationally recognized Certificate III trade qualification
- Complete off-the-job TAFE study and on-the-job training under regional capability trainers and supervisors
- Gain experience working on a range of world-class Cummins engine products
- Improve technical expertise through product training with Cummins Technical Trainers as you progress

Requirements:
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Strong language, literacy, and numeracy skills
- Willingness to work across regional areas and rotate through departments to gain experience on various products
- Right to work in Australia
- Completed year 12 or equivalent preferred
- Strong focus on safety and wellbeing for a successful career at Cummins
