Senior Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead our NSW operations team at UniLodge Kensington. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding, coaching, and mentoring your team to achieve excellence and deliver outstanding experiences for our student residents and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure student wellbeing is always prioritised
  • Manage the property as per the management agreement and all associated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Establish and maintain constructive and productive working relationships with the client, head office, operations team, student residents and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage and optimise the financial return, and the overall financial performance of the property as outlined in the Financial Model/Budget
  • Maintain the property to the highest level of cleanliness and presentation as would be expected of a professional property management company
  • Pro-actively maintain the building's fit-out and the standard of its equipment
  • Provide overall leadership, guidance, and direction to develop a team of high performing staff

Requirements:

  • Must hold a current NSW Real Estate Agent Licence (Class 1)
  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience in property or building management
  • Experience in the Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) sector
  • Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with staff, owners, residents, and contractors
  • National Police Check (completed within last 3 months), at your own cost
  • State Working with Childrens Check, at your own cost
  • Unrestricted work rights in Australia
