About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our perishable goods department, you will be responsible for coordinating transportation, managing orders, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Receiving and processing orders from clients and internal stakeholders
  • Aarranging transportation with carriers, airlines, or shipping lines and negotiating rates to optimize cost-effectiveness and on-time delivery
  • Ensuring compliance with temperature control requirements, safety standards, and documentation regulations
  • Preparing and reviewing shipping and customs documentation
  • Performing quality control checks on incoming and outgoing perishable goods
  • Communicating regularly with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to provide updates on shipment status
  • Identifying potential risks and challenges associated with perishable shipments and developing contingency plans

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 4 years of experience in a similar role within the industry
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail
