Job Responsibilities

  1. Receive and process orders for the transportation of perishable goods from clients and internal stakeholders.
  2. Arrange transportation with carriers, airlines, or shipping lines, and negotiate rates to optimize cost-effectiveness and on-time delivery.
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines concerning the transportation of perishable goods, including temperature control requirements, safety standards, and documentation.
  4. Prepare and review all necessary shipping and customs documentation, such as airway bills, bills of lading, certificates, permits, and licenses.
  5. Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing perishable goods to ensure they meet required standards.
  6. Communicate regularly with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to provide updates on shipment status and address any concerns or queries.
  7. Identify potential risks and challenges associated with perishable shipments and proactively develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks.
  8. Identify areas for process improvement and suggest innovative solutions to optimize the perishable logistics operation.

About You

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • 4 Years Experience in similar role within the industry.
  • Ambitious communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to details.
