
Environmental Performance Specialist

As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving environmental performance across our extensive portfolio of sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish effective communication channels with stakeholders, including senior leaders, staff, and regulatory authorities.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies to achieve targets that lead to savings, operational efficiencies, and implemented solutions.
- Deliver a range of environmental programs and projects related to the sustainability plan, including carbon neutrality and renewable energy initiatives.
- Monitor, report, and improve on annual performance from available data, as well as provide expert advice on compliance.
- Manage external partnerships, including sustainability consultants and contractors involved on projects.
- Foster a culture of sustainability within the organization by effectively managing resources and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualification or equivalent experience in corporate sustainability.
- High-level project management, leadership, and organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental legislation and development and building standards.
- Knowledge of sustainable technologies, initiatives, water management, resource recovery, and biodiversity.
- Understanding of change management to correct behaviors towards sustainable practices.
- Ability to engage and motivate staff and stakeholders in sustainability programs.
