Environmental Sustainability Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced environmental professional to support the delivery of infrastructure and renewable energy projects across NSW, focusing on sustainability and compliance.

As an Environmental Sustainability Specialist, you will work closely with internal teams, contractors, and regulators to develop and monitor environmental management plans, conduct inspections, and provide advice on site.

You will be responsible for engaging with stakeholders, providing practical environmental guidance, and ensuring sustainable outcomes across our network. This role requires strong knowledge of environmental legislation, spatial systems, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of infrastructure and renewable energy projects with a focus on sustainability and compliance.

About You

We are looking for a qualified environmental professional with strong practical experience and a passion for working on the ground. You should have a degree in Environmental Engineering, Engineering Science, Natural Resources Management, or a related field. Proficiency in spatial systems and software to support environmental planning and decision-making is essential.

A willingness and ability to travel frequently across NSW, including overnight stays at regional sites, is also required. If you're passionate about sustainability and want to make a difference, this role offers the flexibility to be based at any of our depots and involves extensive travel across NSW to support impactful projects.
