Job Summary

We are seeking an Environmental Support Specialist to assist in delivering environmental support to projects in accordance with activities, project plans or specifications.

This role involves providing cross-functional assistance and collaborating with engineers, shift supervisors, and foremen to install and maintain environmental controls and mitigation measures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainability or environmental science and be passionate about reducing the environmental impact of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in delivering environmental support to projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, shift supervisors, and foremen to implement environmental controls and mitigation measures.
  • Contribute to the planning, execution, and reporting of environmental initiatives and programs.
  • Ensure that all individuals involved in the project have a duty of care for people, community, safety, quality, environment, etc.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Graduate Sustainability or Environment Advisory position.
  • Aspiration to become an environmental or sustainability professional, with a willingness to pursue further education or certification.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard computer programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • High School certificate or equivalent administrative experience.
