Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Energy Procurement Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our Energy Sourcing team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional results for our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- RFP process management, including performing complex financial analysis and managing vendor relationships
- Developing energy procurement strategies and recommendations for clients
- Negotiating and securing optimal energy contract terms and price outcomes
- Providing expert advice and support to clients throughout the engagement
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, business, commerce, supply chain management, energy, or economics
- Advanced MS-Excel skills, with the ability to analyze and communicate complex data insights
- Demonstrable analytical ability and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Proven experience in energy procurement, preferably within the industry
