Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Field Specialist to join our team in Cardiac Rhythm Management. This role will be responsible for supporting the implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators, and CRT devices at the direction of your manager. You will also conduct and provide technical support and advice at post-op follow-ups and clinics.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators, and CRT devices.
  • Conduct and provide technical support and advice at post-op follow-ups and clinics.
  • Complete pre-course reading and online training.
  • Attend didactic training and complete course exams.
  • Attend field visits to observe device implants and checks with colleagues.
  • Develop a clear understanding of sales force effectiveness (SFE) imperatives by undertaking sales skills training and engaging with territory managers to better understand the key objectives designed to drive business growth.
  • Develop relationships with, and service key customer groups.
  • Conduct education/training to hospital staff.
  • Identify customer needs and communicate these to appropriate Territory Manager.
  • Maintain and update product knowledge including actively participating in internal and external training sessions.
  • Assisting colleagues with their field development.
  • Commence education towards IBHRE certification.
  • Assist with product marketing and launches.
  • Provide market feedback on product and competitor activity.
  • Comply with customer service and other administrative requirements within the required timeframe.
  • Ensure maintenance of company property/assets.

Educational Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Biomedical, Engineering, Medical Science, Human Movement or related field (Coronary Care Nursing/Cardiac Technician).

  • Manages own commitments and time, works independently and autonomously across all accounts, completes administrative tasks (particularly the online diary) accurately and in line with deadlines.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Compensation:
