Disability Support Lead

About the Role
The Disability Liaison Officer Grade 3 at Alfred Health plays a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities access healthcare services. This clinical position requires strong leadership skills, including continuous improvement, change implementation, and staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical support to people with disabilities across various health settings.
- Contribute to leadership of the Disability Liaison Officer Service and provide operational guidance as directed.
- Identify and manage quality improvement initiatives, ensuring improved outcomes for individuals with disabilities.
Requirements
- Qualifications in nursing or an allied health discipline (desirable) or equivalent experience in disability support.
- Lived experience of disability, particularly intersectional identities, will be highly regarded.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal expression.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience supporting individuals with disabilities in healthcare settings.
