Advanced Clinical Care Services Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to lead advanced clinical care services within our primary healthcare clinic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering high-quality, culturally safe primary health care aligned with our service model
  • Conducting patient assessments, diagnoses, and clinical decision-making independently
  • Prescribing medications under relevant authorities and guidelines
  • Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic investigations
  • Managing recalls, reminders, and follow-up care processes effectively
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across departments
  • Leading quality improvement activities and clinical audits
  • Participating in governance and safeguarding practices for children and young people
Requirements:
  • AHPRA registration with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Demonstrated experience in primary healthcare settings
  • Experience working in Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services is desirable
  • Clinical expertise in triage, treatment, and ongoing care management
  • Ability to communicate effectively across teams and cultures
  • Cultural humility and willingness to learn in an Aboriginal health context
  • Collaborative approach and adaptability in diverse environments
