This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary remote primary health care team, providing comprehensive primary healthcare in a culturally sensitive and community-led manner.

Job Description
  • Work as part of a team to manage client care across the lifespan, treat illness, promote wellbeing, provide education and training, and support community health action to improve outcomes.
  • Integrate Indigenous cultural imperatives in the delivery of healthcare within an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service.

The role offers opportunities to contribute to the development of a permanent GP service aligned with community needs.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team to improve health outcomes in the West Arnhem region.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Holds specialist General Practitioner registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • Fellow of the RACGP or ACRRM.
  • Australian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Broad-based primary care experience in rural/remote settings, ideally in Indigenous health.
  • Culturally aware with knowledge of issues impacting remote Indigenous communities.
