Salary: $83,480 to $95,636 per annum.

This is a permanent full-time position offering a competitive remuneration package, 12% superannuation and a monthly accrued day off.

Job Role

We are seeking a skilled Social Media Content Creator to join our team. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for crafting compelling content, supporting strategic campaigns and building meaningful interactions across our social media platforms.

You will work closely with internal teams to bring local stories to life and ensure our messaging is timely, inclusive and impactful.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, schedule and publish content across our social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with teams to highlight services, events and community stories.
  • Monitor channels, respond to queries and foster positive online engagement.
  • Track performance metrics and contribute insights to improve strategy.
  • Support internal staff with training and guidance on social media best practice.
  • Stay across emerging trends and tools to keep our digital presence fresh.
  • Assist in integrating social media with other digital platforms and campaigns.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

Requirements
  • Experience managing social media in a professional setting.
  • Strong writing, visual storytelling and content planning skills.
  • Proficiency in social media tools and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.
  • Understanding of accessibility and inclusive communication.
  • Relevant qualification in Communications, Marketing, Media or similar.
  • Current Victorian driver's licence, Working with Children Check and police clearance.
