Job Description

As a dedicated professional in the finance sector, you will be responsible for ensuring that clients receive exceptional support and service throughout the settlement process. This entails acting as the primary point of contact for clients, brokers, solicitors, and lenders from post-approval to settlement, guaranteeing clear communication and a seamless process.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, while also possessing a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and meticulous attention to detail when handling client documentation and settlement requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing workflows with precision and care, liaising between clients, brokers, solicitors, and lenders to ensure every settlement runs smoothly and on time.
  • Communicating with clients following their broker meeting, collecting information and documents, and providing updates throughout their journey.
  • Reviewing, verifying, and preparing settlement documentation in line with lender, business, and regulatory requirements.
  • Resolving settlement-related queries as an escalation point, maintaining a proactive and solution-focused approach.

Additionally, this role requires collaborating with internal teams to keep workflows on track and aligned with client expectations, supporting after-settlement follow-ups, and contributing to service improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a Client Service Manager or similar role within the financial services industry.
  • Strong communication skills — both written and verbal — with the ability to make complex processes feel simple and supportive.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a knack for problem-solving.
  • Meticulous attention to detail when handling client documentation and settlement requirements.
