Cloud Support Role

We're looking for a skilled Cloud Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in providing Level 2 technical support for our on-premise Customer Cloud Infrastructure platforms.

You'll be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to cloud infrastructure environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Level 2 technical support for on-premises customer cloud infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of cloud services.
  • Monitor and maintain the health of the on-premises customer cloud infrastructure, including capacity management, performance tuning, and fault management and reporting.
  • Handle the provisioning of new services to customers, monitoring and fault management of infrastructure devices with key stakeholders.
  • Lead and perform trials and lab tests to validate technology solutions.
  • Interact with pre-sales and other team members to understand project requirements from various stakeholders and liaise with vendors to provide technical solutions.
Requirements:
  • Information Technology and/or demonstrated work experience with cloud infrastructure environments.
  • Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and work with limited supervision.
  • Strong customer focus, both internally and externally, in execution of accountabilities.
  • Good time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using operating systems such as Windows/Unix and various roles on the operating system (AD/File/DHCP/DNS).
  • Knowledge of Citrix VDI products and Hypervisor Technologies (preferably vCenter/ESXi, HyperV).
  • Experience with storage arrays and associated products (NetApp/Dell EMC).
  • Familiarity with monitoring systems (PRTG/Nagios) and ticketing systems (JIRA).
