Cloud Support Specialist

Job Description:

This role is responsible for providing critical operational support to the company's cloud-based SaaS product.

The Cloud Support Specialist will be part of a highly technical team and will be responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and security of the platform.

The successful candidate will have strong skills in Microsoft SQL Server, PowerShell, and experience with infrastructure or SAAS architecture.

They will also be trained or certified in Microsoft Azure and have solid experience with Windows, virtualization, and networks.

Additionally, they will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include supporting daily operations, improving monitoring and stability, being responsible for incident response, identifying and executing automation opportunities, managing automated and manual deployments, and documenting processes.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or tertiary qualification in IT, networking, computer science, or equivalent, and minimum 3 years industry experience in an operations/infrastructure or equivalent role.

Nice to have qualifications include experience in a SaaS product company, experience with ISMS (ISO27001/GDPR), and ITIL certification.
