Clinical Nurse Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and support for nursing operations;
  • Ensure cooperation with other business units to maintain operations;
  • Provide professional advice and assistance to the Director of Nursing regarding development and management of the nursing unit;
  • Liaise with other business units to provide after-hours management and leadership across units as required;
  • Commit to quality management using LogiQC quality management systems and MOBnet Pathways;
  • Assist the Director of Nursing in developing and implementing risk management strategies and nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government legislation and accreditation standards;
  • Manage and administer professional development and compliance requirements of the nursing unit;
  • Cultivate productive working relationships, support diversity, and mentor staff to develop capability;

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in nursing;
  • Unrestricted registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse;
  • Experience in managing and leading clinical care in the aged care sector;
  • Strong knowledge of the aged care accreditation system and compliance;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ANACC;
  • Experience in educating, mentoring and motivating staff;
  • Superior communication skills both written and verbal;
  • Working with Disability Services Yellow Card or be eligible to apply;
  • Proof of seasonal influenza vaccination;
  • Current Senior First Aid + CPR Certificate;
  • Immunization history showing two doses of COVID-19 vaccine is encouraged;
