About the RoleThis Senior Business Banking Manager position is a key role in our Commercial Broker team, responsible for driving new customer acquisitions and increasing Funds Under Management. You will develop and maintain relationships with brokers, real estate agents, accountants, and prospective business owners to provide whole of business finance solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and leverage deep relationships with brokers and other stakeholders to achieve new-to-bank customers.
- Drive a structured sales operating rhythm to achieve strong sales momentum.
- Use data and insights to engage with potential and existing customers to identify opportunities.
- Acquire new-to-bank customers through cold calling and other strategies.
- Effectively manage sales and revenue performance, measured by Business Lending FUM drawn and cross-sell opportunities.
- Manage the onboarding of new-to-bank customers and support effective handover to remote customer service.
- Ensure a well-managed business with regards to operational risk and credit risk.
- Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders to solve complex problems.
- Drive outstanding customer experience and outcomes, measured through Net Promotor Score improvement.
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development professional who can bring a passion for helping business owners thrive. You will ideally have a background in business development, relationship management, credit assessment, and planning and prioritisation.
You will be a strong communicator with excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills. A growth mindset and a willingness to learn and adapt are essential for this role.
