About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Westpac Institutional Banking. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the CIB Technology Division in managing its application/project delivery needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and manage features, user stories, and requirements.
  • Create and maintain documentation of requirements, use cases, and system designs.
  • Document test cases and manage user acceptance testing with business SMEs.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Analyse workflows to create process maps and identify improvements.
  • Prepare training materials and assist end-user's post-implementation.
  • Support high-severity production issues (RUN/L2/L3).
  • Liaise with Developers, Architects, and Security to align technical needs with solutions.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in delivering solutions in banking or large organisations.
  • Ability to influence project teams and prioritise change requirements.
  • High proficiency in technical writing (BRDs, IFS, Test Cases, Target Operating Models).
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and solution design experience.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, Analysis, Reporting, and Integration Services.
  • Experience in process documentation and mapping.
  • Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience working with onshore and offshore Developers and Testers.
