Job Opportunity

We are seeking skilled boilermakers to join our team at Mount Isa Workshop.

This role involves working on a variety of tasks and projects, utilizing your knowledge and experience in the trade.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Undertake maintenance and repair work on boilers and other equipment;
  • Assist in the fabrication of metal components;
  • Read and interpret isometric drawings and applicable standards;
  • Operate MIG, TIG and Flux Core welding equipment;
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve project goals.
Requirements

To be considered for this position you must have:

  • A recognized trade qualification in boilermaking or a related field;
  • A strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures;
  • The ability to read and interpret technical documents, including isometric drawings;
  • Experience with various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG and Flux Core;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
