People and Culture Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People and Culture Consultant to join our team at Tal Services Limited. As a key member of our People and Culture team, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice and support to our People Leaders on a range of people-related initiatives and activities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage employee relations cases, including performance management, misconduct, and formal investigations, with a high level of autonomy and accountability.
- Provide people advisory support and consultancy to People Leaders on human resource lifecycle activities, including policy interpretation and advice on employment-related legislation.
- Support the People and Culture Business Partners in managing organisational changes, such as planning, coordination, and document preparation, and attending consultation and outcome meetings.
- Design and deliver return-to-work plans for returning employees and manage long-term illness and injury cases.
- Manage tasks through the CRM portal (ServiceNow) and Workday, and work within agreed SLAs.
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Demonstrated ability to own and manage complex employee relations/industrial relations cases through relevant People and Culture processes and employment legislation.
- Strong knowledge and ability to interpret, including but not limited to, the Fair Work Act 2009, National Employment Standards, Modern Awards, and Enterprise Agreements.
- Demonstrated ability to work within an agile and fast-paced environment while navigating through ambiguity.
- Proactive, self-starter with the ability to manage own time and deliver to agreed deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills to articulate technical issues with stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and experience working with a HRIS, such as Workday.
