Our Role

We seek a collaborative and forward-thinking Procurement Specialist to shape and deliver procurement strategies that drive positive outcomes and strengthen our supply chain.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across various departments to provide trusted procurement advice and guidance. Your expertise will be instrumental in sourcing and tendering, supply chain management, and contract oversight.

You'll be responsible for building strong relationships with suppliers, engaging with the market, managing risks, and planning ahead to ensure our strategies align with our organisational goals and community needs.

Your Profile

  • Experience in procurement, with a proven track record of delivering meaningful value and positive outcomes.
  • Strong commercial understanding, with the ability to balance big-picture thinking and attention to detail.
  • Skilled at engaging stakeholders, coordinating tenders, and supporting smooth contract delivery.
  • Naturally builds trust and fosters positive relationships across diverse teams and cultures.
  • Comfortable owning multiple procurement categories, encouraging innovation, and guiding change in a supportive way.
  • Plans ahead, considers potential risks, and nurtures team success through inclusive leadership.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Procurement, Commercial or Supply Chain management (desirable).
  • Membership of a procurement body (desirable).
  • Technical or industry-related experience in the energy sector.
  • Strong customer service, negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of contract management methodologies and legislative requirements.
  • An understanding of market dynamics, commercial factors, and the macro-economic context.
  • Strong customer service, stakeholder engagement, and support skills.
