About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Strategist to develop and execute category strategies that optimize costs, create value, and improve supplier performance.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on regional communities by delivering customer-centric integrated transport services and infrastructure.
About You
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in contemporary procurement and supplier performance management within a direct engineering environment. You will need strong leadership skills to lead, develop, and manage the performance of a team.
You will have a customer-focused approach, with a keen sense for delivering value to the communities we serve. Highly developed stakeholder management skills are essential, as well as the ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work while meeting tight deadlines.
The Team
The Network and Assets branch is responsible for managing State-owned assets across Regional NSW, including road, rail, ferry, property, and heritage assets. As a Procurement Strategist, you will work closely with the team to deliver strategic procurement solutions that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute category strategies that drive cost optimization, value creation, and supplier performance improvement.
- Lead and manage a team of professionals to achieve procurement objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver tailored procurement solutions.
