Senior Energy Procurement Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Energy Strategist to drive the strategic direction of energy procurement and wholesale trading across our expansive infrastructure network. This individual will leverage their expertise in commercial energy markets to develop proactive energy procurement strategies, negotiate robust power purchase agreements (PPAs), and manage ongoing supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop energy procurement strategies encompassing wholesale and retail contracts.
- Negotiate PPAs while managing supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure development through procurement activities.
- Provide market insights on trends, pricing, and risk management to inform business decisions.
- Establish key partnerships with energy vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Requirements:
- Proven expertise in commercial energy markets (retail, wholesale, generation, or renewables).
- Deep understanding of energy contracting, hedging, and market dynamics.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Background in infrastructure or data centre sectors advantageous.
- Experience in stakeholder management across commercial and technical teams.
