EHST Advisor Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced EHST Advisor to join our team and contribute to the management of EHS risk in the workplace.

  • The successful candidate will partner with operational leaders to implement EHS management systems and programs, building strong relationships with customers to deliver a robust EHS culture in the field.
  • Key responsibilities include influencing and coaching operational leaders and team members to encourage best practices and behaviors, enhancing EHST outcomes and achieving overarching goals.
  • Collaboration with the EHST team is crucial for developing and delivering agreed activities and results.
  • As an EHST Advisor, you will mentor EHS&T Officers in incident investigations, risk assessments, and project work, demonstrating a cross-business culture of 'One Team' to deliver the best outcome.
  • Effective relationship management and interfaces with key business functions and clients are essential for optimizing benefits to the organization.
  • Conducting deep dives on EHST data is vital for analyzing EHS information and identifying/implementing risk reduction opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Promoting available technologies to improve EHST reporting and outcomes is also critical.
  • Providing coaching and guidance on the management of EHST requirements and standards within the organization is another key responsibility.
  • Facilitating ICAM and 5 why investigations to identify failures and recommend corrective actions is a vital part of the role.
  • Undertaking projects and analysis to support best practice and opportunity for growth within the EHST realm is a key aspect of this position.

A relevant qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent, experience in working across the resource industry & related sectors, analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills are required.
