Occupational Health and Safety Role

This is a senior-level position that oversees the implementation of health, safety, and environmental standards in our organization. The role involves providing expert advice on occupational health and safety to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement occupational health and safety strategies to minimize risks and hazards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety procedures and protocols.
  • Provide training and awareness programs for employees to promote a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain effective occupational health and safety management systems.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is essential.
  • Applied First Aid Certificate is also required.
  • Proven experience in a similar OHS role, preferably in a high-risk industry.
  • Well-established knowledge of OHS legislation, standards, and best practices.
