We are a leading car Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) with a strong market presence in Melbourne and globally. Our client is passionate about its brand, which translates into an exceptional customer experience.

The company is expanding its sales team to support its dealer network due to growth. In this role, you will report directly to the State Manager and work autonomously across metro and regional territories of Melbourne.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Development Manager to drive performance, service, parts, and engagement for our dealerships. As a key member of our team, you will create and execute sales, marketing, and service plans that align with our programs, focusing on sales actions, customer retention, and stock management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute sales, marketing, and service plans with dealerships that align with our programs, focusing on sales actions, customer retention, and stock management.
  • Analyse dealer performance by model line and postcode, identify opportunities for improvement, and support the integration of our sales and service standards into business processes.
  • Collaborate with dealers to ensure accurate stock ordering and develop effective inventory management practices.
  • Foster a customer-centric approach to improve customer experience through Service MSI measurable actions and ensure accurate customer data management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealer Principals and staff to drive business outcomes and support our purpose.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in Business.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience of business processes and marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence business owners and senior managers effectively.
  • Strong adaptability and teamwork skills.
  • Permanent work rights to live and work in Australia.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive base salary between AUD 115,000 - 125,000.
