Senior Sales Development Manager, ANZ Region

The Michael Page company is looking for a Senior Sales Development Manager to join their team in Australia and New Zealand. This salaried role offers a competitive base salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, with an annual performance-based bonus providing additional earning potential.
Job Description:
This dynamic role involves identifying opportunities within the healthcare sector for workwear sales, assessing key market trends and competitors, and building and managing a robust sales pipeline through partnerships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders. The successful candidate will have exceptional business development skills, be skilled in identifying new opportunities, developing relationships, and closing deals in competitive markets. They must also be able to navigate complex sales cycles and close high-value deals, establishing a strong market presence from scratch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business and Market Development: Identify opportunities within the healthcare sector for workwear sales, and assess key market trends and competitors.
- Pipeline Development: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through partnerships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders.
- Account Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with existing accounts, while driving new business development across the region.
- Brand Building: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop tailored strategies that enhance brand presence and engagement within the healthcare sector.
- Tradeshow Participation: Represent the brand at industry events and tradeshows to build networks and generate leads.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute annual and long-term sales strategies aligned with the company's goals, focusing on both sell-in and sell-out activities.
- Sales Reporting: Provide regular business reviews, performance updates, and insight into market conditions to senior leadership.
Requirements:

- A proven track record of building business from the ground up.
- Exceptional business development skills, including identifying new opportunities, developing relationships, and closing deals in competitive markets.
- The ability to navigate complex sales cycles and close high-value deals.
- Industry experience in workwear, particularly in healthcare apparel, is highly valuable for this role.
- Familiarity with the unique demands of uniforms and apparel in healthcare settings.
