Flood Warning Network Engagement Manager

As a key member of the Bureau of Meteorology's Flood Warning Infrastructure Network (FWIN) Program, we are seeking an experienced Stakeholder Engagement professional to lead staff from across the Bureau in building our reputation as a trusted collaborator and partner in the delivery of flood warning services.
The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to help grow the Bureau's stakeholder engagement capabilities in support of our flood warning network emergency management partners. The role will lead dedicated Customer Leads across the Bureau in communication and engagement activities with key government and community stakeholders to inform the delivery of critical flood warning infrastructure and identify and inform of project impacts and sentiment.
This is an Executive Level 1 position, non-ongoing for up to 3 years, offering a salary of $110,115 - $120,760 per annum plus 15.4% superannuation. Preference will be given to candidates based in Brisbane, although other Bureau capital city office locations may also be considered.
We are investing around $230 million over the next decade in flood warning infrastructure in Australia's highest flood risk areas. This investment will enable us to simplify ownership and maintenance of high-priority flood warning assets through the acquisition, upgrade, and integration of key local government-owned, and some state government-owned rain and river level gauges into our existing flood warning network across Australia.
