About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to lead our workplace relations strategy, providing expert advice on employment and labor matters. You will be responsible for representing the company in employment tribunals and managing litigation effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic advice on workplace relations matters, including enterprise agreements and employee engagement initiatives.
- Represent the company in employment tribunals, advocating for our interests and minimizing external legal spend.
- Manage employment litigation, working closely with internal and external legal teams.
- Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on labor laws and best practices.
- Maintain open communication channels with stakeholders, ensuring timely updates on key issues.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in leadership roles, with expertise in contemporary workplace relations.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law, or equivalent business qualification.
- Proven track record of leading successful negotiations and managing complex labor disputes.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
