Operations Executive Summary

A Production Manager oversees the operation of an underground longwall mine, leading a team to meet business objectives in safety, environment, cost, and equipment performance.

The Production Manager will lead a team to achieve operational excellence, ensuring the efficient extraction of coal resources while maintaining high standards of workplace safety, environmental responsibility, and community engagement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain the mine's infrastructure, including mechanical and electrical systems
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Lead a team of highly skilled employees, providing guidance, support, and training as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:
