Fleet Operations Director

As a Fleet Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable operation of our vehicle fleet. Your responsibilities will include overseeing all aspects of fleet management, from acquisition and utilisation through to maintenance, replacement planning and compliance.
Main Responsibilities:- Oversight of fleet operations, including vehicle procurement, maintenance and disposal
- Development and administration of fleet policy, aligned with organisational standards and industry best practices
- Collaboration with logistics, finance and regional directors to ensure cost-effective and compliant outcomes
- Management of complex projects, meeting tight deadlines and delivering high-quality results
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
- Substantial experience in fleet management and operations, demonstrating a solid foundation in theoretical and practical aspects of the role
- Strong knowledge of the motor vehicle, fleet and freight transport industries, with proven ability to engage effectively with suppliers, dealers, manufacturers and government bodies
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise reports and presentations
