Job Title: Sales and Operations Director

Bendigo Advertiser is seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales and Operations Director to oversee our stores and take performance to the next level. As an industry leader, we pride ourselves on offering quality recycled solid timber furniture and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and drive sales, profitability, and operational efficiency across multiple locations.
  • Ensure showroom floors have in-stock best sellers, customized to each store's sales history.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels and minimize shrinkage.
  • Set clear KPIs, coach store managers, and address performance gaps effectively.
  • Attract, recruit, and retain top talent while fostering a culture of engagement and excellence.
  • Develop and implement training programs to elevate team performance.
  • Manage escalated customer complaints as required by the business.
  • Regularly visit stores across different regions to provide hands-on support.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Regional Manager or equivalent role in the retail sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • A solid understanding of retail operations, product merchandising, and sales optimization.
