Job Title:

Child Psychologist

Key Responsibilities and Expectations:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide evidence-based therapies for children aged 0-12 to address emerging mental health challenges and behavioral concerns.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop tailored care plans, ensuring seamless service delivery and optimizing outcomes for clients.
  • Nurture strong relationships with local healthcare providers and community stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and coordination of services.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Full registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Eligibility to apply for a Medicare Provider Number and bill for services rendered.
  • Demonstrated expertise in providing psychological support to children, particularly those aged 0-12 years, with a deep understanding of child development principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate sensitively in cross-cultural environments.
  • Current Drivers Licence.
