Clinical Specialist in Child and Family Health Professional

Seeking a proactive and culturally responsive clinician to provide specialist clinical outreach care to children under 5 years and their families in remote NT communities.
The ideal candidate will work in the Healthy under 5 Kids Partnering Families program, providing early intervention strategies and education to Population and Primary Health Care staff. This role requires high-level clinical knowledge and skills in Child and Family Health or a related field, supported by strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide specialist clinical outreach care to children under 5 years and their families.
- Develop and implement early intervention strategies and education programs for Population and Primary Health Care staff.
- Conduct growth and development assessments, vaccinations, parenting support, and advice in age-specific child health checks.
- Collaborate with local healthcare providers to improve child and family health outcomes.
- Current registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or eligible for same.
- High-level clinical knowledge and skills in Child and Family Health or related field.
- Commitment to a learning culture through clinical guidance and mentoring.
- Ability to travel to remote communities by 4WD or light aircraft as required.
- Hold a current NT driver's licence (or eligible to obtain) and be confident driving a manual vehicle in regional and remote settings.
