Child Mental Health Therapist

The position involves providing comprehensive psychological support to Aboriginal children aged between 0-12 and their families to optimize mental health.
- Psychologist assessment, therapy, management and family support services will be provided within a multidisciplinary team environment.
This role is part of a broader initiative to address the mental health needs of Aboriginal children in Central Australia.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and develop therapeutic plans for children with suspected or emerging mental illness or behavioral challenges.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions as required.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to child mental health.
- Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
- Eligibility to apply for a Medicare Provider Number.
- Demonstrated experience in providing psychological support to children aged 0-12 years.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work sensitively in a cross-cultural environment.
