Key Commercial Contracts Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to provide high-quality commercial support to our Australian and APAC business.

The role entails the review and negotiation of tenders, customer supply contracts (including long-term forward purchase agreements), and addresses a broad range of other commercial issues for the business in the Australasian region.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Support commercial contract negotiations for our Australia and APAC businesses
  • Oversee and review the execution and compliance to contracts and management of commercial contracts
  • Have knowledge on our Commercial manual, and be able to review and understand the business risk and support business decisions
  • Support the Regional Strategic Leadership team (SLT) on commercial issues as and when they arise

What You Need To Succeed

  • A minimum of 5 years of tender and/or commercial contract experience as contract manager or advisor
  • Mining/engineering/construction industry experience highly desirable but not required
  • Ability to read, analyse, and understand commercial ramifications of contract provisions/ translate contract provisions for the business and manage exposure to deliver effective commercial solutions for the business
