Key Role: Strategic Legal Advisor

As a senior in-house lawyer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's strategic priorities with proactive, commercial legal advice.

  • You will lead on Australian financial regulatory matters and advise on new financial products and business lines.
  • You will draft, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts and partnerships.
  • You will support board governance and company secretarial responsibilities.
  • You will collaborate closely with risk, compliance, product, operations, and marketing teams.
About You:
  • You are a senior in-house lawyer (approx. 10+ PQE) with deep experience in financial services, corporate, and commercial law, together with company secretarial/governance.
  • You have exposure to online trading, investment platforms, crypto, or similar.
  • You have direct experience interacting with regulators.
  • You possess strong commercial judgment, able to confidently triage risk.
  • You have a warm, proactive, and collaborative style - comfortable working autonomously but also building strong cross-team relationships.
