Built in the 1920s by the Grace Brothers as a showpiece of their successful retail business, The Grace Hotel has beautifully restored its former glory to become one of Sydney's most famous historical landmarks. It is a fine example of Neo-Gothic architecture, with contrasting Art Deco interiors that offer a unique blend of ancient charm and modern comfort.

Located in the heart of Sydney, this heritage-listed 387 room hotel offers the service and luxury of a city hotel to meet the needs of today's discerning guests.

The Role

As a Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for receiving telephone enquiries, inputting reservations, responding to emails and faxes and promoting special packages amongst other duties. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills and outstanding customer service will be required in order to process reservation requests accurately, promptly and professionally. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit team dedicated to maintaining high standards.

The successful candidate must possess:

  • Excellent grooming and presentation
  • Great customer service and communication skills
  • 4- or 5-star hotel or travel agency experience preferred in Reception or Reservations
  • Understanding of the FIT market and reservations process
  • Knowledge in Opera Property Management System is preferred
  • Ability to work professionally under pressure
  • Passion for providing every guest with a positive experience
  • Ability to work in a team that strives for success and excellence in customer service
