Data Officer Role Overview


The Data Officer will be responsible for maintaining data quality control and management, including data cleaning, data query resolution, data mapping, and database design, development, and implementation.



  • Employment Type: Full-time (35 hour week)
  • Duration: 12 month fixed term contract
  • Remuneration: $100,354 - $107,054 + 17% Super and leave loading
  • Location: UNSW Sydney campus, hybrid working arrangement
  • Full Australian working rights required for the duration of the contract

Key Responsibilities



  • Maintain data quality control and management, including data cleaning, data query resolution, data mapping, and database design, development, and implementation.
  • Work predominantly with REDCap to provide data solutions for clinical data collection and study management.
  • Collaborate with the Systems Manager and other team members to ensure effective data management.

Requirements


The ideal candidate will possess a graduate biomedical science qualification or equivalent, computer or other medical qualifications, including Nursing, with relevant experience in the conduct of clinical research. They will have demonstrated experience in data management, data cleaning, data query resolution, and data mapping.
