Job Title: Research Officer, Data Quality Specialist

Job Summary:

The University of New South Wales is seeking a highly skilled Research Officer, Data Quality Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for providing technical and research support to senior researchers in order to successfully execute research and Real World Evidence projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and research support to senior researchers in the Centre for Molecular Oncology.
  • Support the development and execution of research projects, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with researchers to identify and address data quality issues.
  • Develop and maintain databases and other data systems to support research projects.
  • Provide training and support to research staff on data quality and research protocols.

Requirements:

  • A university degree in science or related discipline, or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through a combination of education, training or experience.
  • Excellent organisational skills with demonstrated experience to prioritise tasks and workload.
  • Knowledge of research protocols, experimental design and planning as involved in developing research projects and reporting against milestones.
  • Experience working with a range of computer systems and applications, including patient databases, Office suite and other data entry software.
  • Demonstrated superior interpersonal communication skills to initiate and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
