Job Summary

The University of New South Wales seeks a highly skilled Research Officer to join its multidisciplinary team at the National Centre of Excellence in Intellectual Disability Health. This role plays a vital part in advancing research initiatives and providing administrative support to contribute to the Centre's mission of improving health outcomes for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct an audit of research funding and assess clinical trials eligibility criteria to enhance health outcomes for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • Collaborate with team members, including individuals with intellectual disabilities, to ensure effective project implementation and contribute to the Centre's overall objectives.
  • Assist in various aspects of research administration to support the Centre's mission.

Requirements

  • Honours degree or equivalent in Health, Allied Health, Psychology or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with and/or supporting people with lived experience of intellectual disability.
  • Knowledge of research methods, particularly designing surveys, qualitative analysis, and developing research projects.
  • Experience working with a range of computer systems and applications, including NVIVO, SPSS, Qualtrics, and Microsoft Office.
