Research Officer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Research Officer to join our team in the Child Death Reviews Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking research and project tasks, supporting data analysis, and preparing reports related to child death prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake research and project tasks to support the development of child death-related research and projects.
- Support data analysis and preparation of reports related to child death prevention.
- Provide strategic advice to senior staff on issues relating to child death prevention.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will require a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as statistics, epidemiology, social sciences, public health, or psychology. You will also have experience analysing complex matters, including assessment of systemic issues. Additionally, you will need to understand current research methodology and best practices in social sciences research. Your exceptional written and verbal communication skills will enable you to produce high-quality work while managing competing priorities in a collaborative environment.
