ABA Therapist - Autism Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ABA therapist to join our team of professionals dedicated to providing high-quality therapy services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

This role involves working closely with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective behaviour support plans that promote positive outcomes and improve the quality of life for individuals with ASD.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Psychology, Disability Studies, Education, Behavioural Science, or Speech Pathology, and be Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) or substantially advanced towards certification.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with client families to understand their needs and develop tailored behaviour support plans
  • Deliver workshops on ABA therapy techniques to junior staff
  • Design and implement behaviour analytic teaching procedures, including discrete trial instruction, incidental teaching, and task analysis
  • Conduct functional assessments and design function-based behaviour support plans
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve program goals

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in relevant field
  • Board Certification as BCBA or substantial progress towards certification
  • Experience in supervising and delivering ABA programs for children with ASD
  • Ability to conduct behaviour analytic assessments and design behaviour support plans
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
