Job Description

The role of a Mental Health Clinician involves providing early intervention through assessment, brief interventions, and care coordination to young people aged 12–25.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with young people in a youth-friendly environment
  • Provide clinical mental health services including assessment, screening, and care planning
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to connect individuals with necessary services
  • Develop strong interpersonal and communication skills to handle complex issues

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in mental health or a related field
  • Fully registered healthcare professional with experience in mental health
  • Current and valid Working with Children Clearance
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team and constructive relationships with young people, family/carers, and other agencies
