Young People's Support Leader

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate leader to join our support team. As a Young People's Support Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a national team of specialist professionals who provide therapeutic support to young people aged 12-25 and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver online counselling services to a proportionate caseload of young people and families affected by cancer.
  • Support the delivery of organisational goals and key performance indicators.
  • Contribute to stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively with all services under Cancer Hub, Alliance Partners and other stakeholders.
  • Lead, build and develop a team of autonomous professionals to deliver high quality and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or Counselling.
  • Current registration with relevant professional bodies.
  • Current Working with Children Check and willingness to undergo National Criminal History Police Clearance.
