Job Title: Account Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our growing sales team at Brightcove. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base in the SMB space for Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a territory plan focused on revenue generation and customer acquisition.
  • Build and manage a metrics-driven sales pipeline of new accounts and opportunities.
  • Manage the sales process through the team from initial contact with a prospect to negotiating and closing contracts.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the SMB market and industry trends in ANZ.
  • Partner with sales leadership and marketing in ANZ to jointly build a go-to-market strategy for the industry.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of direct sales experience in a SaaS environment, preferably selling into Martech, advertising & media technology, and SMB clientele.
  • A proven track record of delivering on or exceeding revenue goals and quotas.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and carry through complex deals to closure.
  • Demonstrated ability to qualify opportunities in large volumes and interact with other team members to work toward closing deals.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to customize communication to the customer's needs.
  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM is highly preferred.
