About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Experience Specialist to join our team at Damco Spain SL. As a Customer Experience Specialist, you will be responsible for owning and managing the customer experience of our clients by identifying issues proactively, building strong relationships with customers, and identifying solutions that benefit both Damco Spain SL and the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Business Acumen: Develop a deep understanding of our customers' business needs and be able to identify factors that drive decision-making.
  • Relationship Building: Onboard new customers and build strong, collaborative relationships with both established and new customers.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure smooth execution of the end-to-end shipment lifecycle by working closely with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Supply Chain Expertise: Understand external factors impacting customers' supply chains and be able to respond with suggested solutions.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with customers to ensure their needs are being met.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships and shipment order consolidation planning.
  • Communication: Proactively track shipments and notify customers of relevant deviations from the transport plan.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively seek out and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of shipping, supply chain, or logistics industry preferred.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Process Understanding: Good process understanding and digital proficiency.
  • Execution Mindset: Strong execution mindset and ability to work under pressure.
